Unstable SMP ports, DNS, and versions

Use the hostname, not a port

Java accepts unstable-events.net as a hostname and discovers the correct service through DNS. Adding :25565 manually can override that discovery and cause a timeout.

Bedrock is different

Bedrock clients ask for a separate port field. Enter 19132 there, and keep the address itself free of a port suffix.

Version ranges

All releases in the range 26.3–1.21.11 are accepted. If the server changes its supported range, update the saved installation rather than repeatedly rejoining with an incompatible client.
